Yes we have cool jobs, we have gevaarlike vans, drive fast, make good money and get to do this all while having fun and enjoying our job...but the reality is that we are the persecuted,the badmouthed and discriminated. If u do not do what we do then please do not cast tht stone coz we are the ones who risk everything leaving our families at home at ALL hours to make sure u are assisted. We do not get support from the goverment,we are not acknowledged as essential emergency services yet we were granted permits within lockdown. Please if you do not know abt the risks we take daily then atleast respect our lives BY MOVING OVER OR SLOWING DOWN when approaching an accident or when seeing amber lights. . We need to spend some thought on running a safety campaign as an industry and call on support from those whom we do work for. We are the ones who sweat blood and tears,we are the ones who do the dirty work and we are the ones who sacrifice our lives for what we love!
Final respects to our fellow towers who lost their lives this past week and in years gone by.Many do not realise the dangers we face while trying to assist motorists,we salute our fallen and keep u in our hearts. R.I.P

Reports of a severe cold front to hit Cape Town tomorrow morning please keep safe ,be vigilant check that your not only your wipers, head and tail lights are working but also your indicators. Be aware of your surroundings and always keep a safe following distance,we appeal to all road users to be thoughtful of each other because besides ppl rushing to work we also have parents/drivers taking their kids to school.
