After it finished 1-all at a wet Mavuso Sports Centre, Nsingizini Hotspurs beat Mbabane Swallows 5-2 after penalty shootouts. Sizolwethu 'Nunu' Shabalala and Felix Badenhorst missed Swallows first two penalties with Nsingizini converting theirs and Sifiso Mabila finding the net on the third but it was a little too late as the Shiselweni-based side flied away with the trophy for the second consecutive year.

MOMO CUP FINAL UPDATE: After 70 minutes, it is 1-all between Nsingizini Hotspurs and Mbabane Swallows. Sinenkhosi 'China' Dlamini put Nsingizini in the first half before Siyabonga Zwane levelled for Swallows with a glancing header.

CHESA MPAMA: Mbabane Swallows has completed their onslaught of Lozitha Spurs, winning 5-1 in the MoMo Cup second semi-final. Sizolwethu 'Nunu' Shabalala and debutant Samba Orion added second half goals. Swallows will now play defending champions Nsingizini Hotspurs in the finals scheduled for 4pm kick-off.

FULL-TIME UPDATE: Defending MoMo Cup champions Nsingizini Hotspurs have booked a consecutive final appearance, beating Moneni Pirates 3-1. First half goals, a brace by Sinenkhosi 'China' Dlamini and a Thubelihle Mavuso strike was enough to see Nsingizini through. Pirates got a late consolation from the spot by Mayibongwe Malinga.

'BIRDS' SIGN 3 AHEAD OF MOMO CUP

Mbabane Swallows has confirmed the signing of three players, including a Congolese striker ahead of tomorrow's MoMo Cup main day at Mavuso Sports Centre. According to club Public Relations Officer Knowledge Ngwenya, the red and white giants believe the trio will add value to the team.
The players are Melusi Dlamini, a defender, formerly with Nsingizini Hotspurs, Sibusiso Masuku, a midfielder, formerly with Rangers and Samba Orion, a striker, from DRC.
"We take the opportunity to thank the three teams for their professionalism and support we enjoyed during the engagement," Ngwenya said.
Swallows will play National First Division newcomers Lozitha Spurs in the semi-final billed for a 11am kick-off. Last year's MoMo Cup finalists Moneni Pirates and Nsingizini Hotspurs will curtain raise at 9am.
