Let’s make 3 ingredients biscuit (shortbread)

Please don’t ask if I’ve used baking powder, salt, Jesus and his followers 😂😂😂😂 the things I show here are what you will need!

Sometimes we buy abo bani bani and use them to season our food but I know very well ukuthi the salt content is a bit too high ko bani bani, so this is how you can make your own seasoning at home.

UPHUTHU + UMFINO + ROAST CHICKEN

Eat or pass?

Umfino/Morogo - Boil potatoes for 15 minutes, add umfino then boil for 15 more minutes, drain. Heat oil, sauté onion and chili, add a dash of paprika, add the umfino and potatoes, season with aromat ,cook for 20 minutes and enjoy.

Roast Chicken- Defrost chicken, coat with , air fry on 200 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.

Uphuthu - Boil 1 kettle water with 1 1/2tablespoons salt, add 4 cups maize meal once the water is at a boil, reduce heat to medium and stir casually.

Recipe makes 8L
bucket

Mix wet ingredients first

4 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla essence
2 cups sour milk(amasi)
2 cups ultramel
Tip: Put mixture in the fridge while mixing dry ingredients

Dry Ingredients

10 cups cake flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
10 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 tablespoon cinnamon powder
500g cold margarine

Mix dry ingredients then rub in margarine, once done add in wet
ingredients, roughly mix.

Shape your dough, egg wash, bake for 30 minutes on 200 degrees

egg shaming please 😭😭😭 I love amagwinya with an egg, used to eat it a lot during my high school years.

Also, for obvious reasons this type of lunch is a once in a while indulgence.
