Shhhhh! Pay attention as I explain this history myself. Nobody can explain it better than Blackamoor herself. In the year 2004,I had started my journey as a recording Artist.Inorder to pay for my first studio session, I had to cancel one subject in my Computer studies and it's tution fee saved the purpose. ("No gain without taking risk" I told myself.) I had to see myself to the studio of Mr Entertainer; Jai Banda which by then was called;HIGH DENSITY RECORDS. The first song for me to ever record; BWENZANI MOTO, had been produced by SYMON MWEPESA who was working there at that particular time. It had turned out to be a greater journey than I had anticipated because the song had already started getting attention right in the studio before it had been mastered. One of such influancers to listen to my record had been late Vic Marley whom later requested to meet me in person so that we could discuss on how I could help him with perfomances at his 'MAU ANGA' album launch. My journey as a national Artist had started..

We are coming from far, others unfortunately are not here with us. We have won battles and lost some. In this chapter of my life as an Artist, I'm aiming at gathering all my files, rectifying them if I can and then place them where they are supposed to be. Since I've had an ongoing request (for years) for my old songs, I will start with resurfacing those for everyone who have been requesting to have them. Good news for me is that the new Album is almost done and will see it's way out soon. I may not always be available or noisy about it because I want to finish what I had started with dignity. At this gesture in time, I would like to express my gratitude towards all of you who have been reminding me of who I am and encouraging me to keep on. I appreciate all the support and I am looking forward to more of that on days to come when I start releasing new stuff.
