Family Matters: Dealing with reproductive trauma. - Family Matters with Clement Manyathela Clement Manyathela speaks to Social Worker Nthabiseng Lebina about the psychological and emotional impact of losing a baby through an abortion, miscarriage, or stillbirth.
It is unfortunate that most adults did not heal what their parents did to them in the name of discipline. As a results they are passing that trauma on to their children. Emotional and psychological trauma is mostly experienced at home and today you are putting your children through the same and your logical explanation is that "My parents did it to me and I turned out just fine" Sadly, as human beings if we don't heal from trauma we adopt coping mechanism that are mostly self-destructive and accept abnormal as normal to survive. One day your children will have to be adults struggling to heal from their childhood traumas because of the trauma your put them through in the name of discipline.
The things you do and say to your children calling them discipline π’π’π’

Interview with the out and about presenter from 1Gospel
I am sure the owner of this house had to look helplessly as the house burnt. Knowing that the are sentimental objects, expensive furniture, important documents, memories of everything they did in the house. All burning and turning into ashes right before their eyes. Even if the owner wished to save anything from the house, they had to understand that their life was more precious than anything which is also replaceable in the house.
Sometimes in life you have look as the memories, the dreams, the goals, the love, the promises, the history you had with someone all comes to nothing as you become nothing to them. Allow is all to perish right before your eyes because any attempt to save it, you risk losing your life.
Such happens to us in life. Life puts you in a situation where there is absolutely nothing you can do but save yourself. You watch as everything falls apart but you understand that you need take a back sit and let everything perish because you can only save yourself and nothing else. But with you saved, you have a chance to rebuild it all and even better.
When people ask me "So you only use one number" this is my response. No one is going to stress me on my phone Hence I am not interested in who has my number and how they got it, I am interested in why they have it.
