Simple and easy lunch... fresh pappardelle with parsely pesto (Triple P)😌

Fresh rolls recipe🤩🥺
*Ingredients*
6cups flour
6 tbsp sugar
1tsp yeast
2tbsp oil
100g butter
3 cups warm milk ( i mixed 3tbsp Ellis brown + 6 tbsp hot water)
*Instructions*
1. In a jug, add 2 tbsp sugar, yeast and milk. Mix until the sugar dissolves, cover it and let it proof for 10mins or until foamy.
2. In a bowl, add 6 cups flour, remaining 4 tbsp sugar, oil, melted butter and mix well. Add the foamy yeast mixture.
3. Knead until your dough is wet. Please make sure it is not too wet.
4. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
Preheat oven @ 190°C.
Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces.
Roll each piece into a ball and place on the baking pan,Brush with milk and let it rest for 30 mins or until doubled in size.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serve warm.
For 2 years now, I've been making something something for Lindiwe Sebei 's bday and this was her "cake slice" 😂😂. Peri-peri quarter leg chicken. Oh and the sauce? It's homemade😚🤌
One-pot beef stew and steamed bread🍲🔪. For the steamed bread used baking powder instead of yeast, allowed the dough to rest for 30mins before steaming😌

Simple late lunch, tomato soup with homemade bread🤌
Blueberry pancakes 🥞 recipe
Ingredients
- 3cups flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 6 tbsp sugar (3/4cup)
- 1 cup My SPAR Bopedi Freshline blueberries
- pinch of salt
- 3 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups warm water
* In a bowl, mix all the dry and wet ingredients together. Please make sure the batter is runny but not too runny
* grease pan with a bit of butter then wipe using a kitchen paper towel. Heat the pan on the stove 5/6
* Pour the batter over the frying pan, using about 1/4 cup for each pancake.
* move the back of spoon soup in circular motion so that the batter evenly coats the surface.
*Cook the pancake for about 2 minutes, until the base is lightly golden and bubbles appear on the batter
* flip with a spatula and repeat on opposite side for a minute.
This recipe is perfect for those who are lactose intolerant and the non egg eaters🤗🤗🤗
