WhatsApp Sewing Lessons For Beginners.
Duration: 4 weeks/20 lessons
Fees: R500 per week/R100 per 3hr lesson.
Choose your own time.
Week 1 - Learn how to use the domestic sewing machine. Learn basic sewing techniques. Make a pillow case.
Week 2 - make a skirt with elastic casing and patch pockets.
Week 3 - make a skirt with gathered waist, waistband , zip, inseam pockets, button and buttonhole/snap fasteners. Learn how to cut a circle skirt.
Week 4 - make a dress with sleeves, inseam pockets, facing and side slits.

Choose your time slot: 9:00-12:00, 12:00 -15:00, 15:00-18:00

Week 1 - Learn how to use the domestic sewing machine. Make a skirt/shorts with elastic casing waist

Week 2 - make a wrap around skirt with waistband, buttons and buttonholes.

Week 3 - Make a simple dress with facings, zip and patch pockets

Week 4 - Make a flared dress with plain sleeves, shaped facing, darts, zip, inseam pockets.

Start anytime you are ready. You can skip a week and come whenever you are ready to continue.

Classes are small. You can be alone or up to 5 people so you get enough attention.

A certificate of attendance will be issued on completion of the training.

Graduation will be done each quarter yonyaka where you can meet others and show off your work.

After finishing the beginners course you able to sew basic clothing items. And you will pay for extra lessons to learn advanced clothing construction techniques.

Circle skirts. Just to give you an idea how much fabric is needed.The normal Xhosa skirt is half circle. Full circle is now in. And then there's the double circle skirt that requires two circles which is now in demand, and some want it with a gathered waist too... All of this determines the price...
