Route around Camphill restored...
Please check all the info on the image.

🚵First bit still on the tar road to Camphill rd.
🚴BLUE route use tar road until the Parkrun parking area
🚵RED/BLACK enter the jeep track at the entrance of the K9-Unit
🚴RED is basically restored, including The Gorge
🚵BLACK not displayed on map is NOT OPEN - including the route around the dam and through Hasher Estate (Sumaridge) and trail past the horse farm (Nadeson) and beyond.
🚴If using Rotary Way to enter the network - only entrance towards the "Bypass to Mineshaft". Riders riding the climb known at Witklippies in reverse stand to be prosecuted by the landowners and farm security
🚵Please display your permit boards if you have them (2024 permits)

Bit of an update before the weekend. We've got a new crossing over the river, which means you can now make your way back into the forest from the Plaaskombuis/Hamilton Russel/Bypass to Mineshaft side. Sadly you still cannot make it past Camphill, so you'll still have to use the R320 tar road to get to the Plaaskombuis. We've been working on getting some new section for the holidays, but negotiations with some farmers are still ongoing. The Gorge is still inaccessible at this stage, but we should have that back by the end of next week. Once you see what we've had to do there, you'll understand why it has taken this long. Thank you for your patience and enjoy the new crossing....

Big call on the locals to come and join us for a nice big group ride if your not into the racing. Beers after at The Sports Club or down in the Country Market. You might even be able to get your 2023 Annual Trail Permit 😉

The roadworks on the R320 has thrown another curve ball...
If riding our Red/Black in the direction of Die Plaaskombuis, avoid the area next to the road (yellow line), where the underpass was, due to hectic mud caused by heavy vehicles.
Massive shout-out to Vrede and Die Plaaskombuis for allowing us a little detour through their vineyards!
PLEASE DO NOT RIDE TOWARDS THE FARM HOUSE and stick to the new route markers!
