AFRICA, ARISE FROM SLUMBER!

In this world, some people were born in plenty, while others in extreme poverty, yet some are seen to be privileged, highly educated and recognized than others in the societies we live in.
When you begin to think about this, you may be tempted to conclude that life is unfair game, since certain categories of people were predestined to succeed.
If you think like this, today, I bring to you the good news “We all have an equal chance of success regardless of our diverse backgrounds, gender, race or skin color” The biblical passage on Ecclesiastics 9 v11 attest to this, and reads:
“The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor food is available to the wise, nor wealth to the intelligent, nor favor to the learned, but time and chance happens to them all”
The passage means that both the swift, the strong and the wise are not guaranteed of success but it is everyone’s chance.
In the new order of things, the starting point is irrelevant, but what matters is what you do with that which you already have.
From today, please learn to make the best out of what you already have… Moses, the Servant of the Lord used his rod at the parting of red sea and created an space for God to make a name for Himself.
If we all have “time and chance” to succeed, for some people the challenge is failure to discern their times which leads into missing their chances. Therefore, remain focused and always be alert, lest you miss your chance. To me, this is like when you miss an international flight, the repo effects are far reaching.
In view of the above, someone came up with 4 categories of people. i.e. those who were:

1. Born to Succeed AND Succeeded
2. Born to Succeed BUT Failed
3. Born to Fail BUT Succeeded
4. Born to Fail AND Failed

I hope you know a good number of those who fall in each category. If you are to arrange those categories in order of their attraction of respect, how will it look like? Which category attracts more respect?

Another cause of failure comes from the way we see and interpret things. God said to Jeremiah “You have seen correctly” This means it is also possible to see incorrectly. My fellow Africans, what do you see when you look at the African continent? Diseases, contaminated water or poverty? Many people come to Africa from overseas and amass wealth to change their stories in the very same land you call “sun-scorched”.
Africa, has enough for everyone, enough for all of us
From today, begin to see correctly.
