In collaboration with MSD, we aimed to uplift and educate farmers in the Colenso District. It was an honor to work alongside our fellow speakers for this worthy cause.
Our focus was on educating farmers about best practices for maintaining the economic viability of their herds. Topics covered included Disease Management, Seasonal Cattle Management protocols, and FMD protocols.

Our Albert Falls feedlot accommodates over 35,000 head of cattle.
Upon arrival at any KARAN BEEF feedlot, each calf undergoes a series of critical steps: weighing, inspection, inoculation, and tagging. This detailed information is meticulously recorded in our database as part of our advanced biosecurity program, ensuring precise tracking of each animal from gate to plate.
Post-processing, the cattle are transitioned into pens where they receive a scientifically tailored starter ration. This specially formulated diet is aimed at stimulating feed intake, preparing them for subsequent production, and finishing rations.
Throughout the feeding period, we maintain a comprehensive monitoring system to safeguard the animals' well-being. Any signs of disease within the herd are swiftly identified and addressed through prompt treatment measures.
