It would be unrealistic of me to use the word "happy"
The truth remains, and the reality daily is becoming unbearable π
The working conditions are full of abuse π’
Physically.... due to lack of resources and poor infrastructure
Emotionally.... due to a lack of respect and acknowledgment from the MDT (multidisciplinary team) members
Financially.... under payment is a topic we cannot stop βοΈ talking about
We are supposed to be an independent profession with our own regulatory body. The saddest part is that even the body itself, SANC, does not represent us with support and guidance, but rather punishment and the need to always prove our incompetence
Today, I thank all my colleagues for showing up and caring for improvising and saving lives daily in the mist of criticism and unfovaurable conditions
I appreciate each and every one β€οΈ π π
May we one day wake up to a world that knows, acknowledges, but above all appreciates the truth that we are the BACKBONE of health
π
To our real life superheroes.... May this day be filled with love β€οΈ, patience π₯°, understanding π, acts of gratitude ππΏββοΈ and appreciation π«
Today, I pray that the world remembers that you, too, are only human. May you receive gentle love β€οΈ
To all the women who mother us physically, emotionally, and spiritually.... Have a wonderful Mother's Day
You are appreciated ππ₯°

As we enter into a season of renewal here in the South, embracing the Winter equinox, I find myself reflecting on the beauty of this time of year. Ahh Ngwedi. Ahh Nomkubulwane. This is a time of transition, of shedding old habits and embracing new beginnings.
In many traditions, the Winter equinox is a time for introspection and reflection. It is a time to take stock of our lives, to evaluate our progress, and to make the necessary adjustments to our plans and goals. It is a time to update our vision boards, to set new intentions, and to align ourselves with our highest purpose.
The April full moon is celebrated as the "pink" moon, in honor of the Spring equinox on the other side of the world. The eastern North Native Americans named the April moon the "pink" moon in reference to the blooming of the pink wildflower, Phlox Sabulata.
As we usher in the season of Auset, we are reminded of the cyclical nature of life, of the constant ebb and flow of the seasons.
During this time, it is important to guard our thoughts and to cultivate positivity and gratitude. Our thoughts have the power to shape our reality, and by focusing on the positive, we can manifest our desires and create a life filled with joy and abundance. As the saying goes, "we are what we think," so let us choose thoughts that uplift and inspire us.
While the Spring equinox brings manifestation and growth, for those in the North, the Winter equinox signals a time of rest and rejuvenation, for us in the South. As the days grow colder and the gardens begin to wither, it is important to take care of ourselves and to prioritize our health and well-being.
One of the best ways to build our immunity during this time is to steam with flu-related herbs, drink herbal teas, and maintain a diet high in vitamin C. It is also crucial to stay warm and cozy by wearing warm clothes, blankets, and socks, and to rest as much as possible. As the wise elders Sr Noma and Gogo Noma would say, rest is the ultimate medication for flu, so be sure to listen to your body and give it the rest it needs.
Our bodies are always in tune with nature, and by listening to its signals, we can prevent illness and stay aligned with our true selves. Winter, like all seasons, will come and go, so let us embrace this time of rest and reflection, knowing that it is an important part of the natural cycle of life.
As we honor the Winter equinox and the arrival of the "pink" moon, let us remember to take care of ourselves and to prioritize our health and well-being. And as we navigate this season of renewal, may we find joy, peace, and abundance in all aspects of our lives.

Sometimes, Dlozi communicates through the experiences of others
Most time we attract those who will trigger our wounds
Sometimes, the awareness comes with conversations we engage in
Most times, the scariest thing is not being there for someone, but knowing that no one is there for you
I am a Badimo Child
A spiritualist growing, daily...
Just reminding you, I am a healer because I was wounded first. I am healing daily. If you look closely, you will see the scars. If you care enough, you will notice the fresh bandages, and if you need to heal, you will simply walk with me without judgment.
Born to heal through educating ππ½ππ½
Finding myself is healing my wounds. Healing my wounds is in helping you, helping you is healing generations to come
I know who I am
I know why I am here
Still, the journey is next to none
It didn't get easier, I just got wiser π

Just a gentle reminder, Badimo Child: LIVE
π
All I know is that I will never go to bed the same person I was when I woke up. Not in this lifetime, not anymore.
No matter how small your progress.
Even if you tick one thing off your to-do-list.
That one step, that one, is a step closer to where you wish to be.
Keep pushing! Keep trying!
Whatever you do Badimo Child; Keep moving!!!
