on the song ‘Mama Africa’. He then continued to work with Dj Fresh on Club Y compilation and did a remix for the legendary Ntate Caiphus Semenya and Mme Letta Mbuli’s ‘Ndi Phendule’. Jerah’s versatility as an artist and producer earned him a reputation he deserves as 1 of the pioneers that revolutionized South Africa by mixing the old with the new age sounds from house to Kwaito music. In 2002, he was fast becoming 1 of the best Producers and was approached by his friends Harrael and the acclaimed Dj Mbuso to work for SoulCandi. He also remixed Nutty’s track ‘Umdali’ featuring Daddy on the House Of T Bose Volume 1 : Baby Foot Steps compilation. A year later he worked with Dj Mbuso on the most anticipated “SoulCandi Session One” Album that featured his popular track ‘6850 Maluleke Street’ which sold more than 25000 units. The Album was nominated @the 2003 Metro FM Awards. Again in 2004 he worked Dj Mbuso on ‘SoulCandi Session Two’ compilation which featured his hit single ‘Mma-we’
Jerah collaborated with Dj Rudeboy Paul and called himself ‘One Eyed Monkey’ on a project titled ‘Azanian Pulse’ where he worked with the late Mam Busi Mhlongo on the remix of ‘Uganga Ngegane’ as well as the likes of Mme Mirriam Makeba, Dolly Rathebe and Mabi Thobejane just but to name a few. He then moved a level higher by joining forces with another talented Dj Pepsi to start a company Mo-nyuku Music where he produced a couple of remixes for another heavyweight in the industry ‘Kalawa Jazmee Records’ where he worked with artists such as BOP, Stoan, Kabelo aka Bouga-Luv, Flash Republic’s Tamara Dey and Tokollo Magesh. He continued to showcase his unlimited talent and skills on more projects like the The Coca-Cola Collaboration in 2004. In 2005 Jerah revived his working relationship with Dj Mbuso where they worked together on Mbuso’s classic album ‘Maf and So’ which went on to sell over 35 000 units. He also produced the hit ‘Cry, Die & Kill’ on Dj Terance’s Music Box 3 in 2009. He also worked with the heavyweights TKZee on their last Album ‘Coming Home’. He continues to grace the South African music scene to date with his formidable presence and undeniable talent. In 2011 he produced a track titled ‘No, No, No’ for international Dj Harrison Crump which fast became a favourite party anthem for house music fans and in 2012 hee produced a song in honour of the Legendary Dj Ganyani titled ‘Master’. Jerah has already produced an album for new singing sensation Yves titled ‘7even’ with a lead single ‘Mfana Wase Mahikeng’ on high rotation on most radio stations., with her golden voice, fresh sound and unique vibe. In 2014 Jerah is set to release his 2nd album, its gonna be fire.
