I had the most amazing experience this weekend. It was my first #traditionalwedding. What a wet weekend. It was also my first 3 day wedding. Saturday was the white dress wedding at @pontdeval and the river was overflowed so they had to move everything to higher ground. The reception was held in a tent because the reception venue was completely under water…only the roof was visible. Sunday’s Traditional Wedding was held at the MTC hall in Welkom, and I had no clue what was going on. I think I must learn Sotho😂 Day 3 was ceremonies held at their respective parents’ homes. There was so much going on over the 3 days, and on Monday the bride @a_goofy_troop was leaving her home to be welcomed in her groom @spotcash’s home. People always ask me "How do you create your sparkler photos?" and they are always surprised when I tell them that it is me running around my clients like a crazy person with a wedding sparkler. This is the first video which is evidence that it is in fact me running around you as my client...and wow...I love making magic! This photo was part of a styled shoot we did at the amazing Toadbury Hall Country Venue! Here is a link to a video I uploaded which shows how I do my sparkler photo. https://youtu.be/CSfSs5Yfixk Or see the video below! How did do the photo? My camera was stationed on my tripod, I manual focused on the couple and set a 10s timer (which enabled me to get to the side of the frame) and then oped the shutter for 20s while I run around them with a lit 70cm sparkler. These sparklers burn for roughly 2 minutes. Camera settings? Shutter speed: 20s Aperture: f/4 ISO: 200 Rear curtain flash with 2 flashes.
