Monday Morning 03 October 2022.
A call came through on the Oosrand 911 Zello channel about a House robbery in Casseldale Springs and that the owner is busy tracking her phone that was taken. I immediately went to assist and the location was sent to me. We searched and followed the location for more that 45 min which lead us directly to the suspects.
In their possession we found items that was taken in the house robbery, cell phones, handbag, gas BB gun and some frozen meat. The suspect volunteered to show us where they parked the vehicle that was taken in the house robbery.
On a second location we found the stolen vehicle, a silver Peugeot 207.

Good afternoon members, I would hereby like to approach all SAPPS members to introduce you to a very IMPORTANT service (MEDICAL).
As we are all aware, the lack of response time for Provincial ambos (waiting period up to 2 hours and Private ambos up to 1 hour) and would therefore like to introduce you to a very affordable plan for medical services. In a medical emergency situation it may be critical to get immediate medical care.
SAPPS together with Jodamed EMS has their own ILS (Intermediate Life Support) who will respond within 5 to 10 minutes. Standard callout fee is R450 per callout BUT become a member and only pay R199 per month for a family of up to 4 individuals. This includes the callout, stabilising the patient, dispatch of ambo and supply medical care while waiting for ambo to arrive. Our ILS's are equipped with all the necessary equipment to stabilize a patient on site which includes stitches and wound care treatment. (T's&C's apply).

Assisting our clients in keeping looters from looting a truck involved in a accident last night. Approximately 500 Looters started draining milk from a truck after the trailer flipped on its side. We were contacted by the client to assist as the towing company couldn't get near the truck.

Today at around 13:30 I received a phone call from a member informing me about 2 bravo suspects in a white Toyota Corolla who just stole a laptop and a cellphone from a small business in Geduld Ext. On my way to the scene Martin Pelser reported a suspicious white Toyota Corolla on the East Rand 911 Zello communication platform. I immediately got in contact with Martin and gave him a description of the suspects. He confirmed that the information that I gave him was a positive. Martin , Gerhard from CP Security and a few other members followed the vehicle to a safe place where they stopped the suspects. On my arrival on scene with the complainant whe found the stolen goods in the vehicle. SAPS Jaco Powell was contacted and the 2 suspects were arrested. A big thanks and well done to everybody involved in this team effort to apprehend the 2 suspects.

On the 31st May at 00:40 I received a call from Pro Safe's Control Room requesting back-up at one of their guarding sites cnrs. Paul Kruger & South Main Reef Rd for a business robbery in progress.
On arrival I found several ProSafe vehicles around the perimeter. They informed me of 3 armed suspects inside the building. A ProSafe Guard inside the premises told the reaction units that the suspects warned him that should anybody enter they will open fire. I then radioed for backup on Oosrand 911 Zello Communication group where a few security members and CPF responded. One Pro Safe Reaction Officer, Callie du Preez and I, took it upon ourselves to enter the premises to look for the suspects. While searching, reaction officers outside the premises, notified us of 3 suspects they noticed on the 2nd floor,
we searched but could not find them. I called Anton van Nieuwenhuizen, a Drone owner, to assist in the search. He spotted 3 suspects on the roof with the Drone. We shouted at the suspects to stand up raising their hands, which they did. Some ProSafe Officers and a Securetec Officer then entered the building to safely es**rt the suspects out of the building.
3 Fi****ms, house break-in equipment and cellphones were seized. Welldone and a big thank you to all involved who made this arrest possible.

This evening I received a phone call from a client broker working with Genric Insurance regarding 3 trucks that was held up by a violent group of men threatening to burn the trucks.

We responded to the location in Germiston and successfully (recovered) the 3 trucks. The trucks was then es**rted to a place of safety.
