About the Designer
Hi, my name is Ruthe Chummie.
I personally want to welcome you to Meninaz and give you a glimpse of who the person behind the brand is.
I’m a loving wife and a very proud mother to three beautiful children. I was raised in the South of Johannesburg and come from a Portuguese family background and that is how the name Meninaz (girls) came about. I enjoy reading and I have a serious obsession with cooking tasteful meals and baking beautiful desserts. Whilst growing up I have always had an eye for fashion, but because I had such low self-esteem, I was always relegated to the behind the scenes girl, quietly giving styling tips to everyone else.
