This concept came from my grandmother who was diagnosed with cancer and sadly passed away in 2018, when I was in my final year of high school. This piece has so many symbols behind it and each with a different kind of meaning dearly to my heart.

When I was painting this in my final practical exam, I felt her there with me guiding me while I was listening to praise & worship hymns & made this my best piece I ever made. I was in awe of how it came out.

This concept came from my grandfather who was diagnosed with dementia in 2017 and he recently passed away in 2020.
I made this piece in 2018, there is a symbolic meaning behind everything.
My inspiration was the American actress, Rita Hayworth, who had dementia as well.
