Academy Para athlete, Arno Graaff (17) F46 recorded a massive new PB of 12.56m during training today surpassing his own SA u/20 record of 10.67m!

Arno will now have is sights firmly on breaking the 13m barrier before the end of the year.

Toyota SASAPD National Championships 2024 💥 💪

ACADEMY PARA ATHLETE EYES NATIONAL TITLES AT THE SASAPD CHAMPIONSHIPS IN BLOEMFONTEIN

Arno Graaff (17), SA u/20 Record holder in the shot put and javelin, will have his eyes set on national titles in shot put, javelin and discus at the SASAPD National Championships over the weekend.

The countdown continues with over 1000 athletes expected in Bloem for the 2024 Toyota SASAPD National Championships. At the opening ceremony on 21 March, they will pledge to take part in the games with respect and abide by the rules. ​

TWO SILVER MEDALS & AN UNOFFICIAL SA RECORD FOR ACADEMY ATHLETE!

Arno Graaff (17) who usually competes in the F46 Para athletic events competed in the Noordheuwel Cluster Athletics Meeting where he bagged two silver medals in the boys u/17 discus and javelin to qualify for the D2 Championships later this week.

Arno who also holds the F46 National records in the shot put and javelin landed an unofficial SA F46 u/20 record of 33.20m in the discus.

ACADEMY PARA ATHLETE BREAKS THE 40M BARRIER TO RECORD A NEW UNOFFICIAL SA U/20 F46 JAVELIN RECORD!

Arno Graaff (17) recorded a well deserved 40.35m in the javelin to break through the 40m barrier on Friday night at the Nories Athletics Meeting in Krugersdorp. In the process, Arno unofficially broke his own SA u/20 F46 record of 37.88m.

From the Winelands to Bloemfontein, the journey continues!
