This is the sideburn (vertical tragus)piercing that we refuse to do as it's classed as a surface piercing. Most body piercers understand the healing complications of surface piercings and don't do it. For that reason, there are substitute procedures like micro dermal anchors that don't give issues, provided it's done perfectly. This client walked in yesterday with very high amounts of discomfort and I had to remove the jewellery as the piercing was infected. Only a studio that's hungry for money would put a client through this. Research is important so don't go to just any fool who says they're body piercers. Ask for portfolio and customer reviews folks.
