Engagement on Facebook: Take a look at the page. Is it just a front, or can you see that the person has been putting in a lot of effort to post regularly and respond to comments?

Too Good to Be True: If a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is! Be wary of prices that are significantly lower than usual.
