Friday 21 April 2023, it was a great day for Bert's Bricks Primary School, our stakeholder SALGA handed over the food Garden to our school and we celebrated Mandela Day in advance, we partnered with NW University Potch campus, Metropolitan, Sanlam, Old Mutual, Agricultural College Potch, Assupol. We take this moment to thank our stakeholders for making our dream come true. Now we need to sustain our food garden so that it help our learners and the community around our school.

We are so blessed as a school to receive a donation of Maths and Science equipments to the value of R10 000 from Explo Clay Company. We are thankful to the Company, these equipments will help our learners alot. Our Mathematics and Sciences department will never be the same. Watch our Maths and Science Department in 2023, Astro-Quiz, Eskom Science Expo, Maths Olympiad, Maths challenge here comes BB.

We congratulate our Sextet choristers who obtained position 2 at SASCE National Competition, held at Rhema Church in Randburg. We thank God Almighty who made this achievement possible, choristers who sacrificed their weekends and school holidays for rehearsals, you're the best my angels, choir conductors, you're the best u started this journey way back, teaching our choristers the first note of music, I applaud 👏 u guys, parents of our choristers thank you for your support, you trusted us with your kids, during our weekends camp practices, spending weekends without your kids at home it was difficult for u, thank you once more, Staff members teaching and non-teaching thank you so much for supporting your choir, sacrifices u made for them will not go unnoticed, SMT, SGB, Parents, Learners, Sub-district, District, Province coordinators for school enrichment activities thank you so much, Pianists especially Tumi, our choir liked you so much. All stakeholders thank you. We enjoyed the support of everyone throughout this journey. I'm a proud Principal today because of the efforts, support i enjoyed from all of you. May God bless and enlarge your Territories, thank you once more

We are doing our best to participate in the coming ABC Motsepe SASCE Competition

We're so proud of our grade 7 learners who sacrificed their playing time with their peers over the weekend, just to come and be part of the Eskom Science Expo day at HTS Potch, on a Saturday. The idea behind that was to expose them, to level the playing field for their project ideas and to see how Young Scientists come up with ideas.Let me also thank our EAs who also sacrificed their time to be with our learners, Mr Morapedi and Ms Jela.Now the sky is the limit for our learners.

As a school we try our best to keep it clean, a big thank you to our General work force, staff and learners, especially Foundation phase learners, they really enjoy picking up papers with their principal. Thank you guys keep up the good work.

Bert's Bricks Primary School is situated at the outskirts of Potchefstroom. It is a quintile 1 farm school. The school has done well in the past and is still doing well even now. The principal of the school is Mr Lehlohonolo Mofokeng, Deputy principal Mrs Maja Mojapele, Senior phase DH Ms Miles Molewa, Intermediate DH Mr Dimakatso Kekana and 20 teaching staff, 10 non teaching staff. We received donation of sanitary pads for our learners, we thank the donor so much.

It is a blessing to teach children while they are still young that "Blessed is the hand that gives than the one that receives. Our grade 7s donated their uniform to their school as a token of appreciation. We are really humbled by their hospitality, Big Thank You to them and to their parents. I would also like to thank Mr Itumeleng Phatoe as the one who initiated this project, Grade 7 teachers le di skhokho shem.

Hard work pays at the end of the year, our foundation phase learners were awarded for their excellent performance throughout the year. Im proud of my learners and the Hard working teachers. Thank you so much for ensuring this event is a success. We also honoured Our Tannie who spend her time every friday to come and read the Bible and make stories for our Foundation Phase learners and the Foundation Phase Departmental Head was honoured for the splendid work she has done over the years.
