Spotlight on Our Alumni! Meet Rico Niezen, who recently completed his BA Honours in Design (Graphic Design) programme and scholarship recipient at Inscape. Rico’s passion for art and design led him to explore how traditional drawing serves as an invaluable research tool for improving creative output. Rico’s words: "In the fast-paced design world, drawing is often sidelined. My research sought to prove that engaging in drawing can significantly enhance a designer’s visual communication." Discover how his journey, including a 100-day drawing challenge and an in-depth Inktober case study, reshaped his approach to creativity. It even inspired the creation of 'Luck of the Draw', a unique drawing prompt game with over 2,500 possible prompts! Explore, engage, and create.
