Brubeck & Jethro were movie stars this weekend! We did a night shoot with the Landau for a commercial and the boys were just fantastic!! Such professionals!! We left the yard at 18:30 and were back at 02:00 without any issues. The crew was incredibly understanding of the horses: constantly asking us if what they ask for is possible; will it bother the horses; can we use the smoke machine; can we shine the light - will it blind them etc.etc… For anyone who thinks that animals get abused on set: no chance. There is an SPCA and Animal welfare representative there during the entire shoot, watching every move, making sure animals are fed, watered and not over-worked. We were very impressed at how the animals were respected!
