METHODS OF ASEXUAL PROPAGATION: Performance and bearing can be predicted due to the specific choice of cultivar used to produce the fruit. The quality of fruit on selected cultivars are much better than others.

FRUIT TREE PROPAGATION: Fruit tree propagation is usually carried out throuh asexual, also called vegetative reproduction by grafting or budding the desired variety onto a suitable rootstock.

PREPARING SOIL FOR PLANTING: Preparation of the soil prior to planting includes improving the drainage, structure and organic component of the soil. The alkalinity and acidity of the soil also has to be changed to suit the intended fruit.
