Today my heart broke because we realise how many people try to make ends meet daily and the world is just getting harder.

Our suburb along with a few others haven't had water for nearly 3 days.

At our feeding schemes we are permanently refilling water bottles to receive fresh water for drinking and recently we haven't been able too.

We are frustrated because we can't bath, wash hands, clean and cook however for the homeless they are struggling to get water to drink.

How scary is that!

Today a gent came walking along, pushing his trolley with 4X 20L buckets- PLEASE mam, I am begging you, can you refill these for me.

I haven't worked in 2 days and this is my bread and butter.

We asked what work he does, and he said I was cars in Randburg. This man looked so disappointed.

We explained we didn't have water too and he sadly left walking with shoulders low and pushing his trolley, but saying- Tomorrow is another day. Let's hope for good.

Life is about not giving up!
