Throwback to transport week and everyone favorite car wash 🧼 🚗

Throwback to transport theme.
We had fun with a car wash, explored textures, worked on fine motor skills and sorted colours.

Did you know that your baby is listening from the moment they are born? Even though they can’t yet speak, they are soaking up every sound, every word, and every melody that surrounds them. This constant exposure to language is essential for their brain development.

Here are some simple ways to communicate with your baby from the start:

🩵 Talk to them throughout the day, even if they don’t respond. Talk to them about what you are doing, read aloud to them or simple sing songs.
💛 Use exaggerated facial expressions and body language to help them understand the meaning of your words.
💚 Respond to their cooing and babbling with enthusiastic sounds and gestures. This will show them that you value their communication efforts.
💜Read books to them regularly. The rhythm and rhyme of children’s books are especially stimulating for their developing brains.
🧡Play games that involve language and interaction. These games can be as simple as pointing to objects and naming them or singing nursery rhymes together.

Remember, every interaction you have with your baby is an opportunity to nurture their language development and brain growth. It’s like planting seeds in their minds that will blossom into language skills, cognitive abilities, and emotional intelligence.
