I am that introvert who is more than happy to chill with my thoughts, quietly enjoying the power of stillness. For as long as I can remember, I function best, am most creative and at peace when I take a moment (no - several moments) in the day to check in on myself by myself ☺️. There is nothing to fear really. It’s just “You”. Get to know “You”, make time for “You”, learn to trust and value “You” and most of all allow yourself to love “You”. Truly, honestly and unconditionally!

I love my locs. They represent my continued love for a woman who loved me unconditionally and gave herself completely to her family and those around her. The length of my hair represents the length of time my heart has and continues to seek you ever since you left us: fortunately for me, you remained in me, in my sisters, my brother and your grandchildren. I catch little bits of you here and there in every single one of us. It does not make a whole but it is enough to keep us going until we meet again. I love you mom, deeper every day. Thank you for your undying love.
