Videos by Zaras Cafe JHB in Sandton. Food by Family for Family
Today marks exactly one year since Zaras Cafe JHB officially opened its doors!π One year since our delicious dreams turned into a real-life restaurant! To say that we are proud of what we have achieved so far would not suffice. We are beyond proud. We are honoured, fulfilled, uplifted, and thrilled, because we accomplished what we set out to do. To build a home for our love of food, and to share that love with people around us. People, who have turned into customers, who have since turned into FAMILY π
But we didnβt do it alone. We did it thanks to the commitment and efforts of a small, but amazing TEAM of people who, every day, worked tirelessly to help us to bring our vision to life. THESE PEOPLE ARE OUR STAFF AND THEY DESERVE ALL THE PRAISE, AND GRATITUDE AND SUPPORT THAT WE CAN OFFER! π
We wish with all our hearts that we could be using today to celebrate our 1st birthday, with spoils and laughs (and cake π of course) at Zaras Cafe JHB. Instead, the circumstances have forced us to do something entirely different. And that is to ask all of you out there, our customers, friends and family, to grant us one humble BIRTHDAY WISH ππΌπ« That wish is to help us keep our team safe, and secure, so that we, together with them, may open our doors once again. To do this we have SET UP A FUND that we ask you to please consider contributing to. Every cent raised will go towards covering staff costs which we are currently not able to cover while our beloved Zaras Cafe JHB remains closed, and that we most likely will not be able to cover until we eventually get back on our feet after re-opening (Click on the link https://gogetfunding.com/zaras-cafe-jhb-team-fund/ to make your donation).
Whilst we could never have imagined being in this position, we remain as determined as ever to get through the current challenge, and to emerge better and stronger for it. We trust that with all the passion in our hearts, and an army of supporters behind us, we will make it
