6 Applicants with Grade 10 and 11 ONLY Qualify for the Health Care Worker Course.

We are happy to announce that the statement of results for R2175 stage two are out and ready for collection. We as Nicole are proud to say that we had a 100% pass rate with 8 distinctions... Thank you for keeping the standard "from nothing to something"...

This is the day everyone was waiting for about Nicole nurse training school's future. As you know that there were allegations levelled against the school. The matter was heard in the Northern Gauteng High Court in Pretoria today.
The school was supposed to celebrate the victory after the application was thrown out of court. But we as Nicole are not going to celebrate because we know what was said about the school was far from truth.
Our student were used by people who were looking at their interest to get the school closed down.
Some even went to an extend of creating a page, saying no more Nicole nurses training school - some said Nicole was a fly by night. Unfortunately some students were confused by the rumours and demanded their money, out of fear of loosing out should the school be closed down - we understand and respect your decision, demanding your money back.
Some student, came to their senses and asked to continue with Nicole and we accepted them because we knew that animosity was created by a few people who do not have interest in students' needs.
One other thing that brought this commotion is when we were advised as Nursing education Institution(NEI) including other institutions that the Legacy Qualification is being phased out. As a nursing institution - we were alert and have applied for the new qualification with a curriculum like other institutions. When the new qualification kicks in we will be like any other institution.
Amongst those who took us to caught, one of them was not aware that she was one of those who did well to be registered as a pupil nurse. She pulled out and is doing practical and pulled out without telling the other.
The students attorney decided to withdraw the application from the court roll.
The school Legal department insisted that once the application is thrown out of court - the cost must be for the Applicant's attorney and not the students - because it was going to be unfair to the student to pay because their attorney did not represent them well.
Though the court was packed, not everyone wanted money back - we still open our doors to our students as our motto is" From Nothing to Something.
The school has also increased their support to students who are struggling with their studies - we have a program called STUDENT SUPPORT PROGRAM - were students will be given, motivation, counselling and help them with study methods. The school knows of students who could not obtain the 50% pass mark who also influenced others negatively and made some of them to be DISGRUNTLED. The school has your interest at heart to be the best. It was an eye opener for us as a school and students.
Some media houses were made to believe that Nicole students were disgruntled by the CEO and management of the school. But what we saw today after the matter was thrown out of court was DISGRUNTLED STUDENTS, not what was said in the media a few days ago. Nicole believe, it was uncalled for, for the students to approach the high court because negotiations between the school and students were underway to refund those who wanted their money back and those who wanted to continue with their studies. IT WAS NOT VICTORY FOR NICOLE - NICOLE'S VICTORY IS WHEN WE HELP OUR STUDENT TO HAVE A BRIGHT FUTURE.
