Creating an environment where learners are encouraged to make up their own minds is a good way to create leaders.
There is no perfect time to start or stop learning. Teaching adults is often more important than teaching children.
If you are not learning while you are teaching you are doing it wrong. Read that again.
Education and learning should be a thinking game.
The question is what should they be learning. Because most often what you want them to learn, isn't necessarily part of the curriculum.
Spend as much time encouraging curiosity as you do planning your lessons.
It is the most valuable investment you could make for yourself, your employees and your children.
If you are not busy learning, you are busy stagnating.
Every step has a purpose, each new adventure becomes the road to the next. Making sure your learners are prepared is half the battle won.
It can not be stressed enough, you need less than you think to be able to start.
Consistently test. Take a step, test the knowledge. The power of a learner's recall comes from being asked the right questions.
Look-and-feel, look-and-feel, look-and-feel. It has to be a mantra.
Often the real-world application is left behind when designing courses. Design is as much about what is not there as it is about what is there.
Stay relevant. If you are not learning every day, how can you expect your users to learn?
Putting content online is easy. Making that content so that it stays with the learner, that is the difficult part.
24 hours. That is what you need to make your course available to any smart device.
It is Learning. Just, learning.
The truth is, that you should have started yesterday.
Creating an online world is both simpler and more complicated than is expected.
Creating programs that are as difficult or as simple as it needs to be, is where the art of design lies.
Remember that it is the users experience that keeps them returning.
Any artist knows, it is not the tools at your disposal but how you apply them to your trade, that makes them effective.
Make learning a part of yourself, and yourself a part of the learning.
How do you choose between literally thousands of Learning Management Systems?
