On Saturday the 24th Sakhululeka Isizwe had an official launch at Gompo Hall. This NPO was established in 2012. It has over these 8 years changed so many lives of the under privileged by supporting those who need assistance. Yesterday we were launching the community, church and traditional leadership structure. The event was not only a launch but also a hand over event to distribute food parcels and blankets to the under privileged. The president of the NPO Mr Mandla Phakamile Makinana who is the director of the Makinana funeral palour did the handover of the parcels. He also made a short prayer for the healing nation. He also thanked all the essential workers during this difficult time of COVI_19 for their selfless work. Sakhululeka Isizwe is also building a home for young lady Ms Zusiphe Monga who is 16 years old who was born blind and has a mother who is deaf. She is also one of the recipients of the food parcels from MTN yesterday. We are hopeful that the president of South Africa the honorable Mr Cyril Ramaphosa will be present during the handover of the home in Peddie. MTN Eastern Cape was also there to hand over the food parcels and blankets which they generously donated. MTN has the biggest market share in the Eastern Cape and is in more than 21 countries across the world. Some of the other major contributors of the launch were the following...Toyota from Beacon Bay EL, established local gospel singers and the entertaining Maskhande group Dumangeze Ngcobo all the way from Johannesburg. The partnership of Sakhululeka Isizwe and MTN is a start of great things to come from these caring giants of their respective industries. We recently had an event to award Police of Scenery Park for their hard work as we have working well with them for years and this is the first to happen in our country whereby public sector such as the police service to be awarded by the community. It came in a good time whereby the women and children are being brutally killed and we are in the struggle of fighting all that. In this event we also had a prayer for the nation to help fight the violence, Xenophobia attacks and brutal killings.

In this event we also helped out with food parcel to a granny staying with 8 grand children with no support system or what so ever. This lady is suffering emotional, physical and spiritual and yet raise these kids alone. She can not get help from government due to her documents which some missing some incorrect.

We pledge with the community to assist where they can help with this family. a little can go a long way.
