God is love

In an epic display of camaraderie and sportsmanship, the men’s finals in park skateboarding yesterday showcased something truly special. As the gold medalist Keegan Palmer (Australia) was lifted up by Tate Carew (USA) and Pedro Barros (Brazil) —we witnessed a beautiful moment of unity and love that transcended competition. This heartwarming scene reminded us of what skateboarding culture is all about: community, friendship, and mutual respect.

In John 13:35, Jesus tells us, “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” This powerful message calls us to reflect on how we, as followers of Christ, show love and unity in our own lives.

Too often, even in skate ministries, ego and competition can cloud our vision, leading to judgment and envy. We lose sight of our main goal: to love one another and those we serve. But just like those three skateboarders at the Olympics, we can choose to uplift each other and put love above rivalry.

Let’s take this inspiring moment as a reminder to do things differently. Let’s aim to love fiercely, support one another, and let our actions speak louder than words. After all, it’s through our love that others will truly see the heart of Christ in us.

Go out today and be that love in action. Skate on and lift each other up!

Pray without ceasing, of course it sounds impossible but prayer is not just you talking to God. You also need to take the time to listen to Him right; it's a 2 way communication. Also laying out our souls to him even when we have no words; this can be just by bursting in worship(often subconscious) in our spaces. Which is why it's very important to consume content that is not of the flesh.

This past weekend , , came through for the gathering in Eswatini. With the support of a local church (Mbabane Chapel) and the local skateboarding. Most importantly; emphasis was and still is on the foundation which is .

Sending our sincere condolences to the family of , friends, , the skateboarding community of Ghana, all CSA Facilitators. The skateboarding community across Africa has lost a real warrior but it gives us comfort knowing that he lived his life to the fullest, ran the race faithfully and now he’s with God. Rest well Phil. Thankful of the conversations and memories you’ve given us over the years.

We do not share about our founder often because Christian Skaters is not about it’s founders but about leaders around the globe who have put feet to their faith and poured into their local skate s communities with their passions. CS would not be what it is today without incredible men and women of God, stepping out in faith, despite their flaws, to love and serve their communities. And for that we are soooooooo thankful.

Our thankgiving arises from the nature of God and His glory and goodness. The steadfast reason we give thanks is because God is good and His love is inexhaustible, beyond decay, and never ending. We all fall short but we are moved by a dream to see the broken find hope.

We love the Lord for who He is and what He has done. We love Him for what He has promised. We love him for the blessings He has showered upon us and Christian Skaters. We love Him for giving us hope. We love him because He first loved us. We love Him because He is worthy of all love. We are so thankful Lord!

Please pray for the leaders across the continent of Africa who are gathering this week. May the Lord bless them, draw them closer to Him, equip them, encourage them and unite them.

This past weekend I was skating with the team around Mbabane. So we found ourselves in this neighborhood where one thing caught my eye; a vegetable garden next to the sidewalk. I immediately could grasp the concept but it’s the scripture in the wall that sunk deeper. “Hlanganyela nalabangcwele ekwesweleni kwabo” that’s the SiSwati wording of the scripture.

Otherwise, let’s look after one another through all circumstances. Show some love as God has shown it to us.

Exodus 1-7

On my reading routine I found myself reading the book of Exodus. I haven't gone that deep into the book just yet but the first few chapters highlights the life of Israelites in Egypt.
Through all their generations of slavery God was there with them and He eventually chose to save them. In my understanding it reflected the human life; often filled with bo***ge either spiritually, financially, emotionally etc. it's always challenging breaking those forms of bo***ge, of course Pharoah was also stuborn but eventully God's will had to be done. Through everything you going through plead with him and have faith, He'll save you.

Today's scripture serves as reference to each one of us that we should trust in God in whatever season of our lives; talk to God.
