There’s so much we can’t control. That’s the main reason why we are anxious. Instead of worrying, learn to focus on the things that we can control. Then put our trust in the Almighty to take care of things. Feel the weight lifted from our shoulders.

There will be times in your life when nothing makes sense and you can’t see the wood for the trees. That’s when you need to keep trusting the Almighty and keep going. It won’t be easy but you have no other option. His plans for you are greater than you could ever imagine.

Saddened by the devastating earthquake that has hit Morocco. Almighty. Make it easy for them all, protect them from aftershocks and comfort those who have lost loved ones.

Hiding pain under a smile is not easy. It can be one of the hardest things to do. You do it when you care about others more than you do for yourself. But remember, a smile can hide so much.. fear, pain, sadness, tears. But they reflect one main thing. Strength.

Almighty. Grant us the wisdom to do what’s right. When we’re stuck in our own foolishness, show us the way out. When facing loss & grief, comfort us. When our heart is broken, hurt & wounded, show us healing. When confused & overwhelmed, guide us. We lay our trust in You.

‪You can't possibly have a restful sleep, knowing you've wronged someone. Sort matters out soonest when you've had a dispute with someone.

Almighty. Protect us from the evils of this world. Grant us strength and good patience to cope with our trials. Help us surrender to Your Decree. You know what we don’t. You know what we need. You know what’s best for us. Aameen. ‬

I would like to share this story about how shatan destroys a believer and how shaytan can show a person things in the dream in order to destroy a believer...
Barsisa, the worshipper

At the time of Bani Israel, there was a man in a small village, called Barsisa. He was, what you call, a monk. But he was a true Christian. He believed in Tawheed and believed Isa (peace be upon him) was a messenger of Allah. One day three brothers decided to go for Jihad. But they had a sister and they did not want to leave her alone. So they went looking for someone to take care of her. The town people suggested to leave her with Barsisa, because of his piety. So they went to him and when they asked him, he said, "I seek refuge from the cursed Shaytan" and said No! This was because he was scared of falling into sin ( due to the potential fitnah it may cause). Then Shaytan came to Barsisa in the form of Waswasah (Whisperings). Shaytan is very smart and knew Barsisa had a soft heart. So he told Barsisa, "What if they can’t find someone good and leave her with someone bad, wouldn’t that be your fault?" Now Barsisa did not realise this was Shaytan whispering in his heart, and because of his compassion for others, he decided to accept their request and help the woman.

He let her stay in a house opposite the church. He did this so that it would be easy for him to leave her her food outside the church and she could come get it herself. But after sometime, shaytan returned. This time he told Barsisa, "Why don’t you leave the food closer for her, so that people don’t see her moving back and forth alone!" Barsisa agreed and started leaving the food outside the house. But shaytan wasn’t happy with this either, so sometime later, he returned and ask Barsisa, "Why don’t you go in and leave it on the table, so that no one sees her coming out and going in alone all the time!" Again, Barsisa agreed and he started leaving the food on the table.

Then as time went by, Shaytan returned and said to him

We've all been hurt & learnt painful lessons. But each time, we pick ourselves up & move on with quiet confidence. This is what beautiful patience is about. It doesn’t complain, knowing the Almighty’s in full control of everything. Relief will come soon.

The minute Satan sees you getting closer to the Almighty, he will distract you. He will do his utmost to block your spirituality. Don’t cave in. Stay firm in faith and seek help from the Almighty.

You want inner peace? Don’t worry about what others may think of you or whatever people may say. Lower your expectation of others. Don’t be distracted by the petty talk people may throw at you. Focus on what you want to achieve and keep going.

‪Almighty. Help us to maintain ties of kinship at all costs. May we never break family ties regardless of how our family treats us. May we let go of grudges and ill feelings. May we understand that if we want Your Mercy, we need to be merciful to others.

"Years ago, anthropologist Margaret Mead was asked by a student what she considered to be the first sign of civilization in a culture. The student expected Mead to talk about fishhooks or clay pots or grinding stones.
But no. Mead said that the first sign of civilization in an ancient culture was a femur (thighbone) that had been broken and then healed. Mead explained that in the animal kingdom, if you break your leg, you die. You cannot run from danger, get to the river for a drink or hunt for food. You are meat for prowling beasts. No animal survives a broken leg long enough for the bone to heal.

A broken femur that has healed is evidence that someone has taken time to stay with the one who fell, has bound up the wound, has carried the person to safety and has tended the person through recovery. Helping someone else through difficulty is where civilization starts, Mead said."
