Back to our action plan
1. I will connect with Jhb Water officials this week. DONE ✔️
2. ⁠will call a meeting (probably on Saturday) as a follow up and strategy meeting. CONFIRMED TO TAKE PLACE AT JAN CELLIERS SCHOOL ON SATURDAY 17 Feb ✔️AT A TIME TO BE CONFIRMED. PROBABLY PM.
3. ⁠we will start to frame stronger approaches and strategies (including legal) FOR SATURDAY.
4. ⁠we will build a hybrid team / cross functional team across a few suburbs. ✔️
I MEET WITH SAPRA EXEC MEMBERS ON THURSDAY.
5. ⁠we will strive to use and leverage various media opportunities. DONE, ✔️

Pic taken on Glamorgan earlier.
Then it ran into 16 Swansea.
The owner had to go out urgently but said the dog could stay there till further notice.

*A very busy weekend in and around SAPRA land:*

Besides the SAPRA Halloween 🎃 event on Sunday:

Saturday events, official and unofficial:

1. From midday, many people expected at Zoo Lake for a protest. Unofficial.

2. Rosebank Mall’s Pink Race through the suburbs from 7am- 8:30am. No road closures. JMPD on site. Map attached. Official.

3. Gay Pride from Wanderers through Rosebank. Official

4. Johannesburg Zoo Owl’oween from 5pm. Rugby live at 9pm.

5. Girls on Bikes from Zoo Lake to Jellico Ave from 9am. Status unknown.

6. THE RUGBY!!

Meter Mate Outreach will be collecting goods to drop off for the victims of today’s fire. Pls pop into our donation centre at 133 Jan Smuts Ave (entrance in Denbigh rd) and drop off any old clothing, blankets and non perishables by Wed 6th September and we will ensure it gets to them. 06 June 2023 19h30 Johannesburg Water Customer Notice: Parktown 2 reservoir recovery

Johannesburg Water wishes to inform residents supplied by Parktown 2 reservoir that the system is gradually recovering after a technical fault at the inlet of the reservoir. Johannesburg Water continues to monitor the affected infrastructure, as the system gains capacity.

Customers in higher lying areas will be affected by low pressure or no water during this period.

Johannesburg Water apologises to customers for the inconvenience caused.
