📢 Important Announcement from Rialheim 📢

With a heavy heart, we share the news that Cafe Imagination will not reopen its doors. Load shedding and the associated challenges have made it increasingly difficult for small businesses like ours to maintain the quality of service we aimed for.

Over the past 14 months, we tried to navigate these challenges, but despite installing a battery system, it proved insufficient to power essential equipment like our coffee machine. Operating at a loss for an extended period is unsustainable.

We deeply regret the closure of Cafe Imagination and the impact it will have on our loyal customers and dedicated staff. We encourage you to continue supporting your local coffee shops, as they too face immense challenges and need your support to thrive.

We thank you for your understanding and unwavering support. While we bid farewell to Cafe Imagination, we remain committed to delivering exceptional products and experiences through Rialheim.

We at Cafe Imagination want to reassure all our visitors that we fully support Miss Octopus as she prepares to compete in Miss Octopus Earth. We understand that recent events have caused some concern, but we want to remind everyone that our top priority is the safety and well-being of all our residents and visitors.

Regarding the missing pecan nut pie, we acknowledge that it has been a popular item on our menu. Unfortunately, due to recent events, we have experienced a national shortage of the Peanut Pie . However, we encourage all our visitors to try our delicious cheese cake as a tasty alternative.

We thank everyone for their continued support of Cafe Imagination and all our residents. We are committed to providing a welcoming and imaginative space for everyone to enjoy.

Following the recent news of Madam Octopus' alleged Peanut Pie theft at Cafe Imagination, the owners of Rialheim - together with other residencies such as Mr Piggy and the now retired Dino - have come out in support of the octopus, defending her against any accusations.

While Mr Piggy went as far as accusing Gorilla - another resident at Café Imagination - the owners of Rialheim feel that it is not the time to point fingers or make accusations. Instead, they urge everyone to give each other space to deal with the current events.

The owners of Rialheim remain committed to ensuring that Madam Octopus is able to compete in the upcoming Miss Octopus Earth pageant, scheduled to take place in early April 2023. They encourage all fans to continue offering their support to Madam Octopus and wish her luck in the competition.

In light of recent events, Rialheim has announced that they will not be responding to any further questions from the media for the time being. In a shocking turn of events, Cafe Imagination's world-famous Pecan nut Pie has been reportedly devoured by none other than Madam Octopus - the reigning favorite for the upcoming Miss Octopus Earth beauty pageant. According to sources, the baristas arrived at the cafe this morning to discover that Madam Octopus had helped herself to a hefty slice of the Pecan nut pie, leaving nothing but crumbs behind.

As we reported earlier, Madam Octopus has been in residency at Cafe Imagination before heading off to the Miss Octopus Earth pageant. While the octopus has been a friendly presence at the cafe, this unexpected incident has left the cafe staff reeling.

Our Octopus has a great sense of humor and a bit of a diva streak, so please greet her in an imaginary manner and make sure to snap some pictures with her (her fan club will be releasing her hashtags soon!). We're sure she'll appreciate all the attention as she gets ready for Miss Octopus Earth.

Please note, our octopus is a bit of a handful, so please don't interact with her without one of our friendly baristas. We can't wait to see all the amazing pictures you'll take with her, so come on down to Cafe Imagination and let's make some memories!

Guests will then be encouraged to explore their own dreams and manifest them by hanging them from our interactive bird installations throughout the store.

There will also be a chance to win your very own waning bird installation by entering a lucky draw on the day valued at R4500!

Unfortunately that paint needs time to dry so we will still be closed tomorrow, Saturday 2 July, but back with a fresh new look on Sunday! We look forward to welcoming you back into the store where you never have to get old 🧚‍♀️
