Wilson Sidina passed away yesterday at the age of 81. He was a prominent activist who was involved in civics, trade unions, sport and also recruited many young people to join MK during the struggle. I suppose it's too much to expect any acknowledgement of his contribution from his former comrades or the people in government who have no idea who he is and the contribution he made. I saw him last when we celebrated a milestone birthday of another comrade who has also since passed on. We promised we would get together to catch up but never did. May his soul rest in peace
