We have been passionate about and focused on cricket coaching for the past 15 years and have been coaching over 2 000 aspiring young cricketers including 100 talented township cricketers and constantly endeavors to improve and develop the standard of cricket in all interested youngsters, both in the Durban and Gauteng areas. We at the GICA are of the opinion that the very best time to encourage a child's interest and to start focusing on ball skills and basic cricketing techniques is from as young an age as possible. We have found, however, that a very small percentage of children are affiliated with a cricket club or cricket academy.
