Another Blue Crew angler reeling in the BIG W this past weekend was Frank Gottschalk while fishing the Lowveld Bass Trail on Kwena Dam with a winning bag of 9,64kg.
Frank also bagged Biggest Fish for the event with a stud weighing in at 3.55kg. Well done Frank, keep up the great work!! 👍💪

Meet our newest The Blue Crew Ambassador to BWG (Blue Water Gear) , a seasoned competitor and dedicated advocate for the sport of Muay Thai. Transitioning from a successful professional career in Muay Thai and boxing, he now focuses on nurturing the sport's growth as the president of the South African Muay Thai Organisation.
Beyond the ring, his passion for bass fishing has been a lifelong pursuit, beginning at the age of 8. Despite his busy schedule, he found time to venture into competitive fishing, quickly making a mark by qualifying for the Western Cape team in his first season. His love for the challenge of deciphering the bass's behavior and preferences keeps him hooked, likening it to solving a complex puzzle. With his wealth of experience and enthusiasm, he's poised to make waves as a valued member of our Blue Crew Ambassador team.

A recent fishing trip out saw Blue Crew Angler Ben Gottschalk boat this beauty on a Swimbait from BWG (Blue Water Gear).

Where does one start with the The Blue Crews past weekend escapades out on the water? From the North-West to the Lowveld and all the way down to the Cape the boys were on the board and making waves.
Starting with Joe Khourie and Pieter Khourie bagging a 2nd place in the Anglers4Anglers at Arabie Dam with a 7.38kg bag.
Alexis Kuisis and Stefan Badenhorst found themselves in 2nd place on consecutive days while fishing Albisini Dam during the Northern Fishing League.
August Lingnau and Rudi Herrmann hauled out a 4th place finish at the Joey's Towing Tournament Trail at Albert Falls Dam.
Roy de Wet and Warren Campbell secured a 4th on Day 1 (Clanwilliam) and a 5th on Day 2 (Bulshoek Dam) on some seriously tough fishing conditions and extreme weather during the SABAA Western Cape Team Tournament Trail
Hanro Pieter Loots and Adam Gouws secured 6th on Day 1 (Clanwilliam) and 3rd on Day 2 (Bulshoek Dam) during the SABAA Western Cape Team Tournament Trail
Finally after toiling on Day 1 at Clanwilliam Dam with only one fish, Team BWG (Blue Water Gear) with Brent Lee Webber and Sherwood made some in roads with fishing Bulshoek and finished a mere 0.370g off the winning pace. Big thumbs up to Nicholas Radley and Kurt Retter on a great win for the day 👍

Big shout out to Blue Crew Angler Jacques Bradford on a great Jnr Divisionals this past weekend at Midmar Dam. To top it off he managed to snag this 3.64kg beauty of a fish to take biggest fish as well.
