Pichwai is a traditional Indian textile pattern that is revered for its intricate details and striking appearance.
Historically, Pichwai traces its roots back to the holy town of Nathdwara in Rajasthan, India, where it was used to decorate the walls and shrines of temples.
The Pichwai pattern is renowned for its delicate stylization of Lord Krishna - the pattern's primary subject - against a colorful and scenic backdrop, with exceptional attention given to the intricate details such as the clothing, posture, and expressions of the deity. This style has been passed down through generations of craftsmen who use natural dyes and hand-stitching techniques to create visually stunning Pichwai textiles.
Pichwai patterns are used in various forms, such as wall hangings, clothing, and tapestries, and are sought after for home decor purposes, especially during festivals.
Overall, Pichwai is an ode to the timeless art and creativity that has been an integral part of India's cultural heritage.
These are examples of the paintwork found on products.

Leheriya, a traditional tie-dye technique hailing from Rajasthan, India, produces vibrantly colored fabric with distinctive wave patterns. The craft derives its name from the Rajasthani term for wave, as the intricate dyeing process often results in complex wave motifs.
Leheria dyeing involves the use of thin cotton or silk material, typically tailored to the length of dupattas, turbans, or saris. As per World Textiles: A Visual Guide to Traditional Techniques, the fabric is "rolled diagonally from one corner to the opposite selvedge, and then tied at the required intervals and dyed." The addition of fan-like folds before the dyeing process gives rise to the undulating wave patterns.
True to its traditional roots, leheria typically employs natural dyes, requiring multiple washes before using indigo or alizarin in the final stage of preparation.
Attached images are examples of this design print.

Ikat is a dyeing technique utilized to create patterned textiles by using resist dyeing on the yarns before weaving the fabric. During the process, the resist is formed by binding individual yarns or bundles of yarns with a tight wrapping to achieve the desired effect and colors. This technique originated in Orissa and Andhra Pradesh, where different patterns are commonly known.
The oldest known example of Ikat is an Indian Odishan style that was discovered in a Pharaoh's tomb and is at least 5,000 years old. This is evidence of the longstanding trade between India and Egypt.

The historical roots of Bandhani, a tie and dye textile art, can be traced back to the Indus Valley civilization, where dyed fabrics were believed to have been produced as early as 4000 B.C. The earliest known depiction of the most popular variety of Bandhani dots can be found in the 6th century paintings in Cave I at Ajanta, illustrating the life of Buddha.
Bandhani is a technique that involves tightly tying plain fabric at multiple spots using thread prior to dyeing, resulting in an array of patterns, ranging from simple to complex, including dots, squares, waves, and stripes. Generally, Bandhani designs are created on cotton fabrics using natural dyes and have been used in India by various communities for significant ceremonies, such as weddings.
The word "bandhani" is derived from the Sanskrit term "bandha" and the Gujarati term "bandhavanu," both of which translate to "to tie." The term refers to the art of tying and dyeing, as well as the finished product, and is also commonly referred to as "Bandhej."
