Zes'khethu Storytelling Festival
We offer an unforgettable African Storytelling Experience.
Our talented actors performed the well-known Tselane and The Giant at Agang Bokamoso in Garankuwa, for their Storytelling Commemoration Event.
The story still holds so much relevance because not only is it about the storytelling element or raising awareness about the dangers of speaking to strangers as a child, but it emphasizes the importance of standing up against injustice, making it relevant in contexts where individuals or communities face adversity. It remains a timeless story.🎭❤️

The festival introduced a clairvoyant group reading session as part of the Saturday afternoon programme. We invited Lerato Unplugged, an African Spiritualist, where she held an intimate teaching on defining the difference between Modimo and Badimo and also gave rise to how the two concepts collaborate when juxtaposed. Gogo Lerato continued to delightfully conduct a group reading session with some of the audience members.
A special thank you to Gogo Lerato for gracing us with her presence and her much appreciated contribution towards the festival's theme for this year.

This year, the festival's theme was _Umghidi we Sonto_. Naturally, our opening act was Isiguqo, which is a prayer meeting that seeks affinities with spirit dimensions.
The significance of the opening act was to set a bona fide atmosphere for the entire festival, with the theme holding it all together.
