Blue Rinse Challenge
The challenge is to dye your hair blue, using Gentian Violet, as the elderly are wont to do.
A global community challenge in solidarity with those among us most vulnerable to the Corona Virus--the elderly, sickly and otherwise immune system compromised.
Thanks, Sally Rugg in Harare, Zimbabwe!
C'mon guys! I've discovered that this stuff washes out every time I shampoo, so it's not permanent. Hey, it's now completely off my hands after a few days without me scrubbing them, just normal hand washing.
...aaaand we have our first Blue Rinse challenger, so now I can get my own mug off the page profile pic! Thank you Carmen Gair of Hoedspruit, who clearly rocks this look way better than I do!

Dame Edna expects... that everyone do their duty and step up to the Blue Rinse Challenge!
Corona Virus does not differentiate by colour, s*x, culture or political affiliation, but does have the most devastating effect on the aged among us. We're all in this together, so in solidarity with the members of our community most vulnerable to the Corona virus--the elderly (blue rinse brigade), the sickly and others with compromised immune systems, as well as all our healthcare heroes selflessly exposed on the front line--I challenge you to colour your hair blue, using Gentian Violet Solution, or whatever, for the duration of the Lock-down. This stuff is available at any pharmacy, as well as in your granny's bathroom. Apparently it works best on grey hair, so I challenge all my 'silver back' and 'grey beard' mates to step up to the occasion. And, girls, with hair salon visits out for the duration, why not honour your new 'wisdom roots' in the same way? Works well on skin too (as you can see by my hand), so you 'cooters' have no excuse either! PLEASE post/inbox your photos for publishing on the 'Blue Rinse Challenge' page, which I'll invite you all to like (sorry if it's spammy), then PLEASE share the page far and wide to see how far we can get this to go um, er, "viral," okay?!
