Personal "Personal" is my first official release since I took a break from music, it speaks to the personality and duality of two lovers.

Djen was born in Pretoria South, 1994 in the Township of Ga-Rankuwa. A 25 years old Soulful R'n'B and hip hop vocalist, songwriter, model and an aspiring adult fiction author. The Djen name was derived from the Swahili language, D stands for Dignity, as no one disputes this trait. J stands for Joy . E for Explorer, always ready for the next journey. N for Noteworthy, as her smile is her biggest trademark. Having grown up in the modern ghetto ignited the passion for music in her. Throughout her life, Djen has always been fascinated by the expressions of love and all types of emotions tremendously that every experience or empathetic council can become an inspiration to create music with a message. The Explorer in the name, shows how initially she explored different genres in music, including house music, gospel and finally landed on R'n'B hip hop. Believing that each word has a feeling and a story, as much as every message speaks to the soul. She wishes to to achieve freedom of feeling and expressing every type of emotion through song. As no one is truly human without emotions.
