Did you know that Bellevue makes three Pinotage wines in different styles?

Our Estate Pinotage is an elegant, complex, well-balanced wine with a lingering finish. The wine exhibits delightful cherry, plum and raspberry aromas, complimented by a silky tannin structure .
The Reserve Pinotage is a powerful and concentrated wine and boasts with bold flavours of raspberry, maraschino cherry and ripe plums intertwined with the subtle notes of cedar wood.
The 1953 Pinotage is a single vineyard wine made from grapes of one of the oldest commercially farmed Pinotage vineyards in the world. On both the nose and palate, this wine offers notes of raspberry, strawberry, maraschino cherry, and dark plum. With a long finish, this wine is truly a 'steel fist in a silken glove’.

Did you know that our Tumara blend derives its name from a horse? This Bordeaux-style blend encompasses all five Bordeaux cultivars and pays homage to Dirkie Morkel's horse, which still grazes our farm's pastures to this day. Tumara has remained an enduring classic within Bellevue's wine collection since the first blend was crafted in 1999.
