Asambe means “Let’s Go!” – bringing to life our bold, courageous Cordies rally cry as well as our core values of teamwork and togetherness. This fun-filled outdoor event will take place over two days on 12th and 13th March

The Cordwalles ASAMBE 2024 will take place on Sunday 10 March at the Karkloof Country Club, a family-friendly facility nestled in the beautiful Karkloof valley, home to some of KZN’s finest trails.
Come and join ASAMBE for a family fun day out. With the following events on offer: a 10km MTB Ride or a 10km / 5km / 2.5 km Run / Walk, with some fun surprises through the Karkloof forest.
The Thing 1 and Thing 2 races always brings much delight to our small athletes with big ambitions, who can enjoy both a run and ride. Remember to pack dry clothes, there is always bubbles.

Together with the wonderful staff of Cordwalles, the Parents Association had a lot of fun launching the Cordwalles ASAMBE 2024 event.
The class moms were challenged with the task of dressing up their class teacher as a Dr. Seuss character, and the results were absolutely outstanding.
Thank you to our official Title Sponsor,Thirsti Water for spoiling the boys with Thirsti Kids water.
The Cordwalles ASAMBE event is open to the public, and we welcome everyone to join in the fun! Entries for the event will officially open on Wednesday, 14 February 2024, so mark your calendars. The first 500 entries will receive a free t-shirt – so be sure to sign up early!

Just a few reminders:
HELMETS: Are compulsory for all kids doing the Wild Things and Funsunzi Races, as well as the athletes doing the 10km Ride
BIKES: All bikes need to be in the transition area by 07h30.
ZEBRA HILLS RAFFLE: Tickets will be selling at R100 each. Good Luck!
PICNIC BLANKETS: Please bring a picnic blanket!
REGISTRATION PACKS: If you didn’t collect your pack, please look for the Registration team on the club veranda.

The Cordwalles Parents’ Association brought the ‘gees’ this morning and we can’t wait to bring it to Karkloof Country Club on Sunday at the Asambe event.
This morning there were many happy winners announced for the Asambe Raffle. Shout out to Ndaka Safari, the Cavern and Penwarn for the amazing prizes sponsored.
If you feeling bleak that you didn’t win anything, never fear, we are giving away one more getaway to Zebra Hills at the event. So be sure to buy a ticket on the day.

The Cordwalles Parents’ Association are going wild for the 2023 Cordwalles Asambe event. We are looking forward to seeing our families and friends from the PMB and surrounding areas, at the Karkloof Country Club on Sunday 5 March.
Join in the relay races or enjoy some live entertainment while the kids are looked after in the Kidz Zone.
Remember the theme is ‘Let’s go wild’, so dress accordingly. There will be a prize for the best dressed team. 🤎

During last years Asambe event, the Cordwalles boys together with the PA raised funds which went towards Stationery Packs for the Grade 7 learners at Ashdown Primary School. Thank you to our sponsors Save and Food Lovers Market for your contribution towards this initiative!
This year, the Cordies boys are excited to give back, where the funds raised will go towards planting trees for the playground at Ashdown Primary School.

Our Story
NEW EVENT • NEW VENUE
After hosting the Mudman for 16 years. Cordwalles will now be hosting their first aQuelle Cordwalles Dustbuster Ride | Run event at the Karkloof Country Club on Sunday 15 March 2020. This wonderful annual event appeals to both the seasoned athlete, as well as amateurs. Participate as an individual in the 9km, 5km trail run events or enter the 40km, 20km or 10km mountain bike races. Enter as an individual or team in the Dirtbuster Ride (10km) & Run (2.5kms) event. For our families with young participants please enter the fun foam Colour Ride|Run races which will take place in the Karkloof forest. Come join us!
