It’s crucial to push your muscle to failure to promote muscle growth, but not on every set. Direct your focus to the last 1 or 2 sets of each movement and aim for failure.
Your aim should be 5 to 10 of these sets per workout, you shouldn’t need more than that.🔥

Take 1 to 2 days off per week and never more than 2 to 3 days off in a row. 💪 Rest each muscle group for at least 48 - 72 hrs before training it again. 🔥

When’s the best time to do Cardio?🔥
•The time of day doesn’t have a significant impact on performance, but there may be some benefits when performing cardio at certain times of the day.
•Fasted cardio first thing in the morning or mid-morning can be beneficial, aiding in fat-burning. It’s also a good way to wake your body up and charge up for the day.
•Evening cardio on the other hand, can be more intense and will take you longer to exhaust.
🚀Pro Tip: As a bodybuilder, you would want to do your cardio in the morning if you train in the evening, and vice versa.

What affects rest periods?👇
・Workout intensity
・Fitness level
・Amount of weight used
・Recovery and rest from previous sessions
Rest periods = the rest period between each set.
Rest Periods can range anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes to recover fully. If you are pushing harder with heavier weight, your rest periods may be longer and vice versa.

How to increase your workout intensity? 🔥
The intensity of your workouts is vitally important to your progress. Too much intensity can hinder your progression, too little and you simply won’t progress.🌓
・Increase the weight to add more intensity.
・Reduce your rest period to add more intensity.
・Use supersets, drop sets, AMRAP sets etc to add more intensity.
Playing around with different intensities can help avoid stagnation and prevent your body from adapting to the same routines.

There are many theories out there concerning the optimal amount of sets and reps per muscle or workout.🤔
Bodybuilding sets and reps vary; some benefit from fewer, others from more. Higher volume is effective for hypertrophy.
Some guidelines:
•8-12 reps per set
•15-20 total sets per muscle group per week
•5-10 working sets per muscle group per week
•5-7 movements per workout
•2-4 sets per movement
