Graaff-Reinet hosted its 1st Endurance ride through the Camdeboo National park in partnership with Octofin and CompCare Medical Scheme. The ride was thoroughly enjoyed by the riders as they were taken through natural karoo bushveld and wildlife. Well done to the winners in the various sections and a huge thank you to all our sponsors. Updates to follow!

Oos Kaap durf die koue en nat Fauresmith 206km aan!
Die Oos Kaap span het ń totaal van 12 Oos - Kaap ruiters en perde gehad wie gaan deelneem het aan die jaarlikse nationale rit in Fauresmith. Een van die Oos Kaap ruiters het ook vir die KwaZulu-Natal span uitgehelp.
Na dag 1 wat 75km was het ń totaal van 9 van die Oos - Kaap ruiters dag 2 begin. Op die laaste dag was 6 van die Oos - Kaap ruiters nog in. Aan die einde van die 206km het ons 5 ruiters en perde suksesvol voltooi. Ons het weggestap met ń 1ste plek in die Junior afdeling, asook 8ste plek algeheel - Marelize Klopper op haar perd, Koringkloof Indian Magic. Ons het ook ń ruiter gehad wie 6de plek in die Liggewig afdeling en 9de plek algeheel - Carike Fourie op Kasan Dakota, geteel deur Antoinette Birch.
Die volgende ruiters het almal voltooi:
Marelize Klopper, Carike Fourie, Eli Klopper, Margaret Hobson en Lumé Bekker. Ons Oos - Kaap ruiter wie die KwaZulu-Natal span uitgehelp het, het ook die 206km voltooi - Marli Geldenhuis. Marli Geldenhuis het ook haar Springbok klere ontvang en die prys vir die Junior van die jaar vir die afgelope 2 jaar! Marelize Klopper, wenner van die Junior afdeling het ook weggestap met haar Springbok klere.
Baie dankie aan ons borge wat die rit vir ons moonlik gemaak het.
