From the get go renovating a restaurant on an extremely tight budget and short time constraints Svenja knew she was going to be put under immense pressure from the start. To date this was the largest project Svenja has undertaken and she proved no job is too challenging for her and the team. Svenja was incredible in the way she handled all curve balls thrown. No matter how hard the challenge she would find a way around it. It was such a pleasure to work with such a fantastic team of contractors. Tryn – Steenberg Farm Hotel, Catharina's, Bistro1682 and Online Wine Shop

4 months - 5 x rooms, 1 x 1-bedroom suite, 1 x 2-bedroom suite and 1 x 3-bedroom suite. Steenberg Hotel project is 99% complete. I have pulled more 17 hour days than I thought possible, spent days in the same house as my family not actually seeing them as I left before they woke up and came home long after everyone was in bed, I have walked on average 15km a day up and down the estate. I have laughed and I have cried. This project has pushed me physically, emotionally and mentally beyond any boundaries I thought I had. It has been my biggest learning - I am beyond grateful for every single moment and second of this project. My growth and self belief has catapulted into new spheres - it has been AMAZING !!

Today is a BIGGIE for me ..... 9 years ago I lost everything and started with Nothing .... this morning I start my biggest ProjectS in my career in this industry

I am deeply grateful to the process that has brought me to this point and I cannot wait for more expansion and abundance to unfold .... next 4 months of intense full-on project here we go .... YEEHA 🦋🦋

With a full-time job and long hours, I couldn't get my head around how I could possibly also manage re-doing my kitchen. Svenja handled it all, including me on all decisions and making sure I was happy every step of the way. Throughout the project she picked up and resolved issues mostly before I had even noticed them and made sure all the little things were sorted out properly at the end. The contractors she worked with were all very professional, and they also went out of their way to keep things as tidy as possible so I was able to continue living in the house throughout the project. Thanks Svenja for making the process easier than I could possibly have imagined!

We had been delaying the much needed renovations of our old and tired kitchen and bathroom for literally years as we didn't have any recommendations of builders for this work involving such a variety of contractors.

I had known Svenja for a couple of years through a shared interest and when I found out that she was a project manageress, I finally felt "safe" enough to face the music.

From our very first meeting on site, I felt Svenja's lovely personality and the presence she brings to whatever she does confirmed in her professional capacity. We needed a lot of guidance, suggestions, ideas, options, possibilities and detailed explanations. It all began to take shape (in our minds at least) with the meeting she arranged on site with all the contractors that were going to be part of the project. You could tell immediately that they had all collaborated with each other before and they, too, took time to clarify and give input to the layout and future potential look of our home.

Within a short time we received a completed quote (always with options) from Svenja and a realistic description of what the renovations would mean in practical terms (time, upheaval, mess, conditions, inconvenience, ...) as we were going to be living in our home throughout the building works.

And so we agreed and the fun began.

Both kitchen and bathroom were completely gutted out, walls were knocked down, floors were built up, new windows and doors fitted, a new kitchen layout created and built, .....It was 8 weeks of seeing masons, builders, plumbers, electricians, cabinet makers, gas installers, wood workers, flooring specialists, painters, window installers, labourers, tilers, glass specialist and more at work. Svenja was ever present, ever patient and ever helpful, handling everything and everybody with calm integrity and respect. She kept us informed and updated of any changes or small hiccups and all in all it was a very smooth process. Svenja and her team were flexible and accommodating whenever we decided to add or change something in the original plan. Without exception whether project manageress, contractors, artisans, specialists or labourers, the entire team were fantastic and made the experience very bearable. Professionalism and attention to detail with a beautiful human touch.

We are so so happy and love our new look and feel kitchen and bathroom. We are grateful to and have and will highly recommend Nailed It Projects and use them again in the future. They certainly live up to their name.
