Do you have a Retirement Annuity?

In our opinion, the retirement annuity is the primary retirement funding vehicle that all individuals should include in their portfolio.

It can be used in conjunction with corporate pension and provident funds; although the effect of tax must be considered.

The National Treasury has ensured that this vehicle is administered with favourable tax treatment, to motivate the individual South African to accelerate their retirement funding rates.

What economists say about another rate cut for South Africa 19/01/2021

South Africa’s Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) will meet for the first time in 2021, on Thursday (January 21), with economists anticipating the central bank to keep rates at a record low.

This, Bloomberg reported, stems from the South African government’s decision to only reimpose some coronavirus restrictions amid a second wave of cases, instead of introducing another hard lockdown.
