Aviation Youth Show (AYS)

Waterberg TVET College has landed at the Polokwane International Airport for the Aviation Youth Show hosted by the South African Civil Aviation Authority.

The focus for this AYS is on scarce areas in Aviation. This will further give the students an opportunity to network with Aviation Engineers that will be present on the day of the event.

Waterberg TVET College recently organized health and wellness sessions for its staff members in collaboration with Tsheko Wellness Centre.
The primary objective is to combat the underutilization of healthcare benefits by providing convenient on-site services like dental check-ups, foot care, nutritional guidance, and general health assessments.
This initiative is aimed to remove barriers to access and enhance awareness of available benefits, fostering a culture of proactive healthcare within the organization.

Employee Health and Wellness programs offer various advantages, including effective health promotion and comprehensive employee development, enhanced job performance, morale, and job satisfaction. Such programs also aid in preventing productivity loss due to illness, stress, or absenteeism, reducing turnover rates, cutting healthcare expenses, and ultimately boosting overall productivity.

Waterberg TVET College invites suitably qualified and experienced individuals to apply for the position of Temporary Mathematics Lecturer at the Engineering and Skills Training Centre in Lebowakgomo. People with disabilities are encouraged to apply.

This position entails a 6-month fixed-term contract.

Interested candidates are requested to submit their applications in person to The Principal at Waterberg TVET College, Central Office, located at the intersection of Totius and Hooge Street, Mokopane.
