ETDP SETA letter issued for system down-time. The management of the ETDP SETA has issued a letter confirming the down-time of their system since June 2022 and will be implementing a manual system with immediate affect to address the back-log of Statement of Results. Training Providers can start immediately registering with the manual system and...
Below some feedback received form the ETDP SETA.
In short, we have received some positive feedback that will address the short-term issue of SORs.
1. The ETDP SETA will implement with immediate affect a manual verification process for Training Providers. Please contact your regional staff for more information, however a virtual training session will be scheduled during the 20th to 23rd of December on this.
2. The ETDP SETA will issue Competency Confirmation Letters for learners who are declared competent after a successful manual verification process. This system will be used until the SOR issues was resolved.
The SA Training Forum will be having a virtual meeting with the management of the ETDP SETA on the 6th of December 2022 to get feedback on the AIMS system that has still not operational. We invite all ETDP SETA Training Providers to join this virtual meeting.
We welcome this positive response and believe the issues of SORs should be resolved very soon.
The SA Forum will be having a virtual meeting on Friday the 2nd of December at 3pm with its members to discuss the impact and strategy going forward.
A full feedback sessions to all stakeholders will be given on Tuesday, the 6th of December between 10am and 2pm.
