Project 18
Project18 was founded with the objective to make a difference for lost, abandoned and neglected animals.
We support dedicated animal rescue organisations in and around Cape Town by donating food so that no animal goes hungry.
The Project18 Story
Instead of an 18th birthday party and receiving presents, Project18’s Founder, Blake decided to use the money that would have been spent on these to buy food for local animal organisations.
This first donation was an incredible 245kg. Blake thought that this weight of food would last the shelter a few weeks, but unfortunately, 245kg of food only lasts the shelter a day and a half.
From this, Project18 was founded with the objective to make a difference in our community. No animal should go hungry! Our mission is to raise funds to buy animal food for animal rescue organisations in and around Cape Town.
Through donations, purchases from our online store, debit orders as well as the MySchool, MyVillage, MyPlanet program we are able to make a difference and buy the food needed to feed hungry animals.
